Clinical History

30-year-old male with Downˇ¦s syndrome. Presented with a episodes of convulsions. No fever.

Diagnosis: Dural Sinus Thrombosis

Comment :

CT brain shows an acute hyperdense acute haematoma at right frontal lobe.
CT brain with contrast shows filling defects in the superior sagittal sinus compatible with dural sinus thrombosis.
CT venography shows filling defects in the superior sagittal and sigmoid sinuses compatible with dural sinus thrombosis.
