History

History: M/25. Diffuse abdominal pain and fever.
Figure 1: Noncontrast CT abdomen : A small calcified focus is seen in the lower abdomen. Sigmoid colon is distended with fluid.
Figure 2 and Figure 3: Contrast CT abdomen : There is a collection in the right iliac region anterior to iliac vessels. Peritoneal enhancement is noted at the flank . Extensive stranding is present in the mesentry of sigmoid colon.

DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS :

Perforated appendicitis with appendicolith.
